Alexis’s commitment to impact was demonstrated during her tenure as Senior Advisor for Climate in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). At HUD, she spearheaded climate policy initiatives that fortified communities against climate risks and advanced energy-efficient, climate-ready housing. Her leadership was instrumental in forging innovative public-private partnerships, amplifying the reach and effectiveness of HUD’s climate agenda, and setting new standards for resilience in housing policy nationwide.

Prior to her federal service, Alexis founded and led a prominent land use law firm in Northern California for over a decade, where she helped entitle thousands of market rate, workforce and affordable housing projects and mixed-use projects throughout Northern California.
